This is the month to join infobarrel, I joined earlier in the year and have just started making money on the site, I am looking forward to making much more than I had since I started. Here is how it works. First you will join the site, then write a few articles, then promote them to everyone, then you wait till you make money using adsense. It is a small amount of money per article to begin with, then it increases. Some people are making hundreds of dollars every month, I can't wait till a few months when I am making hundreds of dollars each month.

I really do

appreciate it,

even though you're looking

around the room right now

refusing to make eye contact.

And I see how badly

about the time

you walked in

when I was getting ready for work.

Wearing different clothes

Harder make up.

And I'll never forget

the look on your face

when you saw me tease my hair

put on that brick red lipstick,

spew adjectives and

“ly” words

like molten lava

as I tried to woo the masses to buy, buy, buy.

And I didn't skip a beat when I said

“Girl's gotta make a living.”

And you reminded me it was you

who taught me

everything I know.

And I ask

What good is it to leave me

with a bag of tricks

only to wave a critical finger

when you've been sleeping in half the day

slugging around

in your pajamas

leaving laundry on the floor

fixing nothing but bowl after bowl

of bland oatmeal

waiting for me to go crazy

or starve.

And you don't mention

the thousand times

I came in from a rainstorm

or blizzard

or train wreck

or avalanche

and you came out looking for me

shovel in hand

ready to dig me out

of whatever mess I got myself into.

You don't remind me

how you fixed me

hot chocolate

stroked my hair

dried my tears

while you sang songs in my ear

Instead, you moved out

And now we're doing that

“Date Night” thing

At the suggestion

of our therapist

And after that long

awkward silence

you tell me how nice I look

without my make up

Ask me to tell

the stories of my scars

and we laugh

and weep

and whisper words

You offer to make me

hot chocolate

and I remind you

I'm not six anymore

You are ageless.

I am not.

Sometimes, I need something stronger

a little bolder

You nod

kiss me

Get me drunk

Stay with me

until I pass out

and you slip away

leaving me with a tattooed memory

a hangover

and a note:

“had a great time

looking forward to next week”

I am interested in having anyone who enjoys writing and/or reading join this group.  I write several places and would enjoy uniting more people.  I have seen several groups that promote reading or writing but I haven't seen many that ask for both.

I would like to create a community where authors can post their material, or a link to it.  And have people comment on it - here or at the site.  Essentially, providing feedback for the authors.  I am always trying to improve my writing so I don't mind where people post for me - I just appreciate the feedback.
